Batik Workshop + Durian Feast + JB Shopping Tour

Batik hands on workshop at the Batik Handicraft Centre.

You will be shown on the art of painting batik. Participant can choose the variety of design, flower, butterfly or seashell, etc. Fill in the color of your choice with your name written on the material. Upon completion, the batik artwork will be dry and frame in paper backing and pack in plastic. The masterpieces will then be collected in the evening. You can also made purchase on other batik souvenir items at the Handicraft Centre.

Durian feast at the durian plantation open before your eyes. You can eat as much as you can. If eating there is not enough, you can buy back the durian. After the durian feasting, you can roam around the plantation, taking photos with the durian hanging from the tree trunks.

Fruitful Organic Farm Tour in Malaysia!!




Visit the famous brand coffee beans processing factory. See the different stages till final packing. Taste the freshly brewed coffee and you will want to have more.



Organic lunch will be served at Restaurant.

Tour of the ORGANIC farm – this is the farm that supplies the organic veggie products to the supermarket as well as the Organic product shops. You can also take this opportunity to purchase the veggie products fresh from the farm.


For dragon fruit lovers, you can learn how to grow organic dragon fruits in your own home by using the step cuttings sold at the farm.

1 Day Johor Experience (Batik Workshop + Kukup + JB Shopping Tour)



Visit to the Batik Handicraft Centre. See how the batik is drawn with free hand drawing – hence each piece is unique. You will be brief on the process of batik painting and each will be given a piece of white cloth with ready motif / picture drawn on it. Fill in the colors with the technique learned. Each piece will be frame up after the drying process and it will be returned to you at the end of the tour as your masterpiece.






Then, journey to Pontian to visit the Pineapple Museum (MARDI).

Visit to the ‘Tiffany’ costume jewellery factory. It is the largest factory of its kind in Malaysia producing fashion accessories using pewter as a base metal.


After lunch, take a boat ride to the fishing farm where you can see how the fishes are breed. You can buy some of the local product such as dried shrimps, salted fish, ikan bilis, etc.


Bid farewell to the fishing village as we continue our journey to Johor Bahru for shopping at the Tebrau City – the biggest and latest in Johor with JUSCO as the anchor tenant.
